College Wrestler of the Year - 2001

               An obvious choice with all his past achievements in the wrestling field, Jeremy Biddle, of Missouri Valley College, has earned College Senior of the Year honors. His senior year included 1st place at the NAIA regional and runner-up at the 2001 NAIA. Other notable finishes were 2nd place at the MVC Open, 3rd place at the Wheaton Invitational, and at the NAIA Duals, held in Las Vegas, a record of 2-0.  He finished out his senior year with a 28-6 record.

               His college career record of 98-25 was highlighted by his 1999 7th place finish in the NAIA, at 149 lbs., and of course, being the 2000 NAIA National Champion, at 141 lbs.  He received a medical redshirt for the 1998 season.

               At Winfield High School in Winfield, KS, Biddle won 1st place at the 1996 KSHAA Championships and 4th place at the 1994 KSHAA Championships.

               Majoring in Business Administration and Marketing and Finance, Biddle’s future plans are to go into a third generation family operated business and raise a family with his wife Samantha.  He also enjoys being involved with numerous kids’ wrestling organizations which allow him to give back what he has received from all his great coaches over the years.
