4A Assistant Coach of the Year - 2006

TIM FISHER
Andale High School

Andale High School made an exciting run at the 2005-06 season, winning the 4A state title in dominating fashion. Assistant coach Tim Fisher and head coach Rick Rivera each have been awarded coach of the year awards for their leadership in this accomplishment.

The accomplishment was especially memorable for Fisher, as his two sons were key team members. His son Blake was the 125-pound champion and is now competing at Fort Hays State University. And younger son Brent was the runner-up at 135 pounds as a sophomore.

Fisher has been an assistant at Andale High School for four years. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1983. In high school, Tim was a two-time state qualifier, having only wrestled for two years.
