just curious??

I use to go to all the kids club tournaments during the season but now the kid i watch is in highschool.. So i havent been to many lately. and im wondering who are ganna be some of the tought kids to watch for come subdistrict times.
At 14&under 120 and 125??
Does anybody know it would help me out alot??

I not to sure but you might not get much of an answer until around subs due to not being able to wrestle middle school and club at same time or at least they cant where we are at..sorry couldnt help

Go and look at results. That might help give you a small idea. Other than that in Kansas you have to wait until high school and middle school is done. Then those wrestlers will drop down.

Is middle school still going on in some districts? Our middle school season ended in early November.

Our MS didn't start practice until Jan. 5 and the season ends Feb.10. That is pretty par for the course in most of the western Kansas schools.

Middle school starts Jan. and ends the last weekend in Feb or first weekend in March.

Our middle school season started December 8th (practice) and will end the first weekend of March with our league meet. We won't be wrestling until subs.

Those of us with schools in the new Pioneer League need to work on our AD's about going to the so called 4 sport season. This would be better for all concerned, even those who participate in or follow that other winter sport.

The kids in Middle School in the Ellsworth Area wont be wrestling tournaments in with our club until Subs as well

I could not agree with you more sportsfan02. Something needs to change that would allow the middle school wrestling season to be consistent state wide. I strongly support middle school wrestling, but believe our kids should be able to wrestle club tournaments. Our current middle school season does not allow for that except for subs, district and state.

I'm not sure we will ever get it the same state wide due to gym and practice room availability issues but we can certainly get it the same in many of the schools and leagues. If we really want to build programs and teams state wide this is the way to do it, not as others say by attending dual tournaments with kids from different schools that will never be together as a team in school.
