STA is looking good top to bottom. mamie, markeys, hammer, henes, mccarthy, milstead, nill and others. aldon isenburg will also be there i think. i think sibala, hudgins who beat markey last week will all be in the same class....should be interesting. jake tannenbaum, adam almaguer, and serbosek will all be tough. also nate mcckormick, livengood, chaz lawrence and john carr.
Lawrence, McCormick, Tanenbaum, Serbousek, Sibala, Carr, Drake, Matt Baker, Drew Robinson, Thayer, Henes, McCarthey, Millstead, Isenberg, Nill, Berscheidt, Markey, Mamie, Randall, Keith Curtis, Hammer, Walter and Stokes.

Add frosh Parker Madl to the list he is coming off of a strong showing at Eudora. Also Brandon Kovac should be mentioned, he was a finalist last year at 112.

Look out for Frosh Tanner Johnson from SM East. Kid is good I believe he either won or placed in the two tourny's he's been to this year.

Re: JoCo Classic! - 12/14/06 04:29 PM
I almost screwed myself. What H.S. is on 1500 and Metcalf? I would have went to the wrong H.S. It's much appreciated
That's the BV administration building.
After Parker Madl beat Callahan 12-1 last week, I'll pick him at 103. I'm looking forward to the Cody Shavlik/Parker Madl showdown later in the year.

Oops your right. He wrestled 103 at the Fall Brawl but is now at 112.
What is the actual start time for Friday?
i believe it starts at 3:30 P.M. on Friday
Once you get off the highway in Stanley which way do you go? Or better directions from Lawrence please.

Re: JoCo Classic! - 12/15/06 01:38 PM
Coming from Lawrence, take Highway 10 to I-435 East. Stay on I-435 to the US Hwy 69 South exit, take US Hwy 69 South to 151st St Exit. Turn left (or East) on 151 St to Metcalf, turn right (or South) on Metcalf to 159 St. Turn left (or East) on 159 St and Blue Valley High School will be on the right hand side (or South) of 159th.

Anywhere to find the team rosters?

Re: JoCo Classic! - 12/15/06 06:43 PM
If you are going to the event, the program distributed at the door, will have rosters and brackets. If you are not going, Blue Chip Athletic usually shows the brackets and are updated throughout the tournament. For an example from last year, go to the Dual/Tournament results under High School, scroll down to Johnson County Classic. This will give you the link, should they add this year' tournament. Hope you find what you are looking for.
SM East ends the 1st day in 2nd place at the JOCO Classic. Three East wrestlers remain undefeated on the year.
130 - Tanner Johnson - 11-0
160 - John Carr - 11-0
189 - Matt Baker - 11-0
