2021-2022 season girls and boys High-school

High School Rule:
We need to really look at the 5 match rule if tournaments are going to have 16 man brackets and wrestlers wrestle from backside to placing and have to forfeit the placing match. Let's please look at this rule or something needs to be done at these tournaments.

I know it doesn't help with the regular season, but at least they did change it for the post-season series.

We have been looking at it for years. They at least made a step forward to allow for 5 matches in the post season to allow for a one day regional in smaller areas. The spirit of the rule is to make sure people don't go schedule all dual tournaments and get 6 matches that way, but in tournaments where they make the placing match but weren't seeded in a way to do that before they reach their limit of 5 is not in the spirit of the rule and we should continue to work for this change, in tournaments, where this specific situation happens. We are one step closer this year, so maybe next year.
