The Garden City Tournament is always full of good teams from Kansas, Colorado & Oklahoma. Great competition.

Define west?! Anything just west of you guys? I know Salina and Clay Center are looking for teams to fill in their tournaments. Beloit is pretty rugged.

The real question is when are you going to Western Kansas.

Hoxie has a tourney the first week of the season.
Norton's is the first weekend in January after christmas break.
Phillipsburg has a good tourney towards the end of January.
Sainty has a tourney, not sure of the timing.
Goodland has a dual tourney either the 1st or 2nd weekend of the season.

I am sure there are more, but without knowing when you will be there, you probably won't find much help.

St. Francis is always the first saturday in December, this year 06-07 season it is December 2nd. contact Larry Gabel or Scott Carmichal if you think you want to come out this way. you will see alot of Colorado schools, Colorado springs, (Pine Creek, Billy Gabel's team) Wray, Sterling, and Kansas schools are Goodland, Colby, to mention a few..

Ulysses has a tournament that is a full JV/V tournament. You can bring every kid on your roster and get them matches. It is the second week of December. It is basically a small school tournament. Without looking at a calendar, I would guess around the 10th. It is a tournament that most teams can be competitive in. Lately the teams to beat have been Ulysses, Boys Ranch Texas, Pratt, Amarillo River Road and Hereford Texas. A few Colorado teams will occasionally bring in some good kids. Hugoton made a pretty good run last season until they lost a lot of kids late to injuries. We would like to see more teams from the EAST. The AD's number is 620-356-1392.
