Are these results supposed to be read from the bottom up?

Kehler hit a twister on him in the third period

Yeah, Kehler caught Bonewell in the third period with a twister, only after Bonewell stacked him in the first period, which the official did not call after he held the kid there forever and got 3 back points, then he stuck the kid to the mat again for over three seconds to get three more back points, sad but true. Kehler sailed under a lucky star. The guy that took the pictures of the winning moves for the award plaque couldn't even believe it and gave the picture of Bonewell pinning the kid the second time to one of the Goddard people. Did anyon ecatch the name of that official?

does it matter anymore about the referees name? maybe if bonewell hadn't of gotten in a position to be pinned, then there wouldn't have been a problem

It was the Finals at 152. They were using referee's that are always at 5-6A State. They were using 2 referee's in the Finals. It doesn't matter that Bonewell had Kehler on his back early. It doesn't matter that Bonewell was winning. Kehler hit the Twister with the Goddard Coach yelling "Watch out for the Twister!" the whole time. Bonewell got stuck, and he acted like a baby because he lost, wanting to fight Kehler in the locker room. He got caught and pinned. Period! Any Given Day - the Twister can change a match!

I think the video proof of 4 camcorders speaks loud enough. The reply was made to Chase who asked what happend with Bonewells match. No negative comments were made about either wrestler. I was an impartial crowd member who saw the match and was disappointed that it happend like it did. Bonewell didn't handle it well, but neither did some of the Topeka wrestlers who kept walking by the Goddard area where Bonewell was sitting and staring him down while making comments to eachother. My comment is not to degrade or irritate. Matches go like that sometimes. The refs have a stressful job and I'm sure that it's real easy for those of us sitting to ref a match from our safe seats. I merely did not recognize one of them and didn't know if he was new to wrestling.

Those guys at Emporia have all been refereeing (sp?) a long time. It would have been nice to see both sides handle it better. The kids are competitive and I understand some of their frustrations, but it becomes really sad when parents start opening up their yaps and getting involved.

Thats what is great about wrestling-no matter what the score is the wrestler who is behind can always keep wrestling and push for the fall. Travis is very efficient with the twister and if his opponent stops wrestling he deserves to be pinned.Great Job Travis!!!!

And does it become even sadder when a high school head wrestling coach opens his yap and gets involved?

Isn't "a high school head wrestling coach" paid and expected to get involved?

I have seen him hit that at least 6 times now while losing by more than 5 points, so at what point is it not luck anymore. He hit it twice in back to back matches in state last year.

Yea I could have done with out all the negativity...I simply wanted to know how the match went and thats all...and I wasn't there to see what happened during or after the match but you don't know anything about Brandon and to put it simply...it lives a pretty stressful life...so next time try not to pick on a kid when someone inquires about a match
