It sure would be nice if the sub-district info was posted so parents can know what is going on, wrestling is not the only activity in our busy lives...it is also HS State Basketball week, but our leader should know this since the Holton girls are also playing in the State BB tourney. Wake up and get on the ball--you sure knocked yourself out for the HS Regional/State wrestling. The kids deserve better than this...........

I'm surprised. Our coach had the papers on Subs last night at our practice. Check with your coaches maybe you will get lucky.

I am unsure if sportsmylife is worried about the SubDistrict Kids Federation or the SubDistrict Basketball games? Confused...by the post.

If any of your coaches went to the seating meeting they would have all the info you need. Give these people a break. There is no reason to cuss, my son reads the fourm sometimes so chill out!!!!

Let me clear up your confusion.....I have 5 athletes ages 8-18, all playing a sport or two...basketball, wrestling, volleyball, along with baseball and softball. So you see my life is busy and the more organized the better. I can't always be everywhere to know what is going on, so I depend the info made available on this site as well as others. So, this weekend I will be at State BB as well as Subs, and who knows where else!

And the people running the tournament may have 5 kids plus putting together over 100 brackets. Making sure the mats get to the site, organizing consessions, calling officals, getting score cards, ankle bands, awards, EMT's, table workers, and just a few other details that they are responisble for - just be patient. Whether or not you know who you wrestle today or Friday or Saturday will not change. Even if they post it now.

Well...I know for a fact that there have been a group of men and women working every night since Monday putting this all together...just know that there is early weigh in on Friday night starting @ 6pm and wrestling starts @ 9am on Saturday. It is alot of work but should run smoothly on Saturday so relax. If you have a late afternoon BB game or evening game I would think you should be able to make it! Hope your events go well!

The only info I was talking about in the first memo was the info on the subs flyer in regards to weigh-ins and times. My son doesn't always make it home with flyers and I don't go to every practice. It just would of been nice to print out flyer about subs like most any other tournament. I don't care who he wrestles, the cream always rises to the top.

You people in district 1 must really think your the only ones who do things. There are 3 other districts who also have to get mats,call officals,ect.ect. But yet they post, who moved on out of their subs, when weigh in is, and what time it starts. Or whoever is in charge of posting such things

I think you are stepping over the line. Our district director is far from lazy. No one is scared. The District 1 Tournament entries will be posted when they are confirmed and checked for accuracy. Please respect that we in District 1 are doing this for the kids, not for pay. District 1 is not making excuses just being thorough. By the way, which District has won the last two overall club state championships?

The NCAA has released the official brackets for the 2007 NCAA Division 1 National Championships. The NCAA also has announced that ESPN360.com will be doing live web streaming from the Palace.

I would also like to see all districts post.

However, it's only Monday. There is still plenty of time. We should be patient.

I really appreciate the extra work that everyone puts in.

Please stop posting negative feedback about District 1-We all have busy lives and many things to deal with. I believe that there are many more positive things that we could all talk about than results from Saturdays wrestling. The results will come and everything will be OK. Lets focus on some positive subjects for our children and be patient. We all want to be prepared but this is not the way to handle the situation. Just my thoughts.

District 1 Championship tournament information has been posted on this website for weeks. If you look at the menu at the left of this screen you will see a link that says "Calender". If you click on that you can scroll down and find the D1 tourney. Open that link and you will see the flyer that all D1 club directors received in the mail, again,weeks ago. On that flyer you will find what time weigh-ins are and what time wrestling begins. Along with other vital information. What you will not find there is who your kid will be wrestling on Saturday:(
