Valley Center will be hosting, what has been said to be one of the greatest Tournaments in the area, utilizing the new Track Wrestling program before, during and after thier tournament.
They will have a private Coaches room with TV's (to keep current on the football scores) and food and refreshmints.(you must have a coaches card to enter).
They will have a private Offical's room so they can get away for a few minutes and some of the food and refreshments
They are putting on a raffle for all Spectaters that may and could be confused with the "The Price is Right", it will have the spectaters talking for Years (OK maybe days).
They WILL be using and have reserved the Digial time clocks for this Tournament and Subs.
If anyone has any questions call Amy Richardson at 316-201-6258 or Tournament Director Steve Foster at 316-393-3875.

That all sounds really good. I hope there is a great turn out. But why is it scheduled at the same time as USJOC in OKC if they are wanting a great turnout?

Yes, OSJOC is the same day, However we wanted to be able to give all wrestlers at all levels here in Kansas and surrounding states a Big Time Tournament with a National Tournament atmsphore. Also being considerate to other clubs in the area. The New Tournament committe has one goal in mind, provide all level of advance and novice wrestlers a great experence and run a fun and exciting tournament for everyone.

The USJOC also has a Novice bracket. I wish this tourney was a different weekend. It sounds like you have taken steps to make it a really good one. Good luck!

I have been asked by several; The answer is YES they will be giving TROPHIES to the top 4 places, also talk has been going around about giving an Oustanding Wrestler Award for each age group as well as an Outstanding Offical's award.

I officiated at this tournament last year, it was a blast and if wrestlers are in the area a great one to go to. They also had officials awards which I know the officials really appreciated, made for some fun and made sure they got a long better with the coaches and all. All in all, a great tournament
