I thought the tournament was good. Started a little late, but that was alright. Medals were great. When will they announce the outstanding wrestler awards for this tournament. If they already have, who were they.

Thanks

Thank you for the kind words, we recognize there were a couple of things that we will change for next year, one being posting wall brackets with enough time for coaches to fill out the bout sheets before wrestling starts. We were so worried about starting on time that we did not give the coaches the time that they needed, for that we apologize. (but we only had to post brackets ONCE!!! LOL)

You guys did do a great job! Now that being said, I did see something that tickled me. There was a very long line for the $1 brackets. One of our coach/dads always has a bunch of generic blanks for both round robins and 8/16 man brackets. The crowd in front of the posted wall brackets was, as always, a mad house of bumpin and grindin trying to write down info. I thought for a moment it may have been worth it to stand in that $1 line, but I just waited until the crowd thinned and got my bout info. As I was headed into the gym I was hearing person after person mumbling and grumbling about there being no bout numbers on the $1 brackets, so over to the wall they went anyway....ha ha. It just made me laugh. No big deal and I'm not finding fault, just tickled my funny bone. Like I said it was a great tourny and we will be back next yr for our 3rd time. Thanks guys!

It's the little things that make a big diffrence, We printed wall brackets in color the bout number show up in baby blue, when we made copies of those to sell in black and white the baby blue didnt copy well at all. Yet another check and balance we all need to remember when using trackrestling

All tournaments will have some sort of problem. Overall, this is the best tourney we've been to so far. We will be back next year, hopefully with more kids.

I would also like to thank them for a great tournament.
Does anyone know if they are going to post the novice results?

The Novice tournament is the High School Takedowners tournament, I am pretty sure that they will not post those results. They have never posted them in the past. If you are curious about any certain age group, you can call Stuart Mertins, they live in Valley Center.

Other than them not posting the brackets as the day went on. There are always other brackets to watch and sure you can get the results now. If they were not all RR it would have been a little frustrating not knowing how the rest of the bracket did. I always, like most try to watch my sons entire bracket but there are time you miss the matches.

I know there is that option with TW why not utilize it?

Other than that yes it was a good tournament.
