Doesn't Baker University have an open? Also University of Missouri has an under 20 division in their open which historically was the day after the KB Open in Omaha.

Also a friend of mine who is now living up in Michigan sent me this link: http://65.61.23.146/pywlistings/10grrduals(10-3).pdf

Missouri Open is not happening this year. Baker Univ's AD will NOT let HS kids participate.

As of right now, the UCM Open still shows on Central Missouri's schedule.

Good luck. you might find a takedown tournament, but the first Kansas tournament that I know of is December in Emporia.

If someone had the facility/desire/push to do a tournament or some sort of "High School Preseason" competition they could really benefit from possible revenue if in the right spot. Additionally if a college were to host, I would think that would give them an edge on recruiting. Not sure statistically how it has worked out, but how does Labette do with potential recruits after they have wrestled in the Takedown competition? What is the success rate of having been in that competition as a high schooler and then going to TCOB?

Enetophobic, maybe you should suggest this in the high school forum.

This is the high school forum I thought. Sorry if it isn't...I start getting my eyes crossed instead of T's.

My apologies, it was my eyes that were crossed.
