there were 3 officials at this event today.
Official #1- From what I heard is a Kids Club official...you need to stay there and never officiate at the High School level again.
Official #2- You were to slow and fat and took your sweet time getting down onto the mat and into position when wrestlers backs were on the mat and when you went to the mat you were still out of position and missed about 15 pins today...Either get down on the mat and get in good position or get off the mat.
If you click the link below it'll give you the following info: Board Rules This is a free forum, created for the purpose of promoting Kansas wrestling, and those who wrestle, through the exchange of thoughts and suggestions, and for the recognition of the accomplishments of those involved in our sport. There are just two basic rules that are necessary to keep in mind. First, remember that this is a family oriented forum, and is regularly viewed by young wrestlers. Second, "cheap shots" will not be tolerated. If you are going to post a message critical of an individual, group or idea, you must give your true name and/or email address. Be willing to stand behind your comments, or keep them to yourself. ts regarding this policy may be directed to Mike Juby at mikejuby@usawks.com.

I had another 2 comments about the tournament.
It started pretty much on time, and went smoothly between rounds, which was great.
HOWEVER - what was the deal with no tables for the teams in the entry area? We were told we had to set up our food in the cafeteria next door instead, because there was no room for 12 teams? Ridiculous that they expected the sweaty wrestlers to change their shoes, and go out into the freezing cold to get something to eat. Absolutely ridiculous. There was a team that was sitting on the floor trying to dish up their lunch (smelled good though!) The teams always managed to share tables in the past just fine. Really bad decision by the host school.

I totally agree they ran it nice and fast and didnt have long breaks that were not needed and we got out of there at a decent time instead like 10 at night
