The Leoti Takedown Club will host a certified kids wrestling tournament on Saturday Jan. 29th 2011. Entries will be taken until Wednesday Jan. 26th up to 300 participants. Ages 6u through 12 u will be accepted. Weigh in will be held Friday night from 6:30 to 8:00 and Saturday morning 6:30 to 8:00 at the Wichita County High School on the West side of Leoti.

Trophies will be awarded to the Champions, and medals for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. A free hospitality room for coaches, refs, and tournament workers will be available serving donuts, fresh breads, and cookies, Homemade chicken & noodle, and Chili. There will also be a great concession stand serving donuts, biscuits and sausage gravy, breakfast burritos, pulled pork sandwich, smothered burritos, frito pie, chili, hot dogs, chili dogs and much more.

Can vouch for the concession stand food...It will be the best you'll find at any tournament. If it's anything like their basketball games, it will be worth the drive just to come eat.

I would like to thank all the teams that traveled to our Leoti Takedown Wrestling Clubs first tournament in over 20 years. We really appreaciate all the support that made the tournament a success. We hope to see you all back next year.

Good to see another tournament in the area. I thought the tournament went really good. It takes a lot of people to run on of these things off. Thanks for all your work!

Great tournament for wrestlers who are between novice and advanced. We had a first year wrestler here and he got 4 matches in so the mat time was a plus. Tournament had a couple bumps but they handled it well, and the tournament ran smooth and we were out of their at a good time.

Yes you guys did a great job after 20 years out of it..... Nice to see one close to home! the more mat time the better.. Thanks for combining brackets to make this happen. We will be back next year for sure.
