Brackets will not be created until after weigh-in completes...
This allows us to make adjustments for Scratches without changing the brackets...

I want to share with everyone the brackets we intend to wrestle based upon combining appropriate weights...

After weigh-in completes we may have to make some additional adjustments based upon "Actual" weight for some wrestlers...
For example...We are going to try to make an adjustment to HS 215/245/285 based upon actual weights...

I hope this information is helpful...

Thanks
Steven

We are still analyzing the number of matches it would create...

Steven, I can understand your thinking on not releasing brackets until after weigh-ins but what are your intentions on releasing entries? Will these be made public today? Are you going to allow kids to bump up in weight if they do not make it?

Jeff,
I have had a few additional entries and scratches...

The brackets will not be constructed until after weigh-ins have completed, and adjustments have been made for scratches.

If a wrestler does not make weight we will make the appropriate adjustments if possible to allow them to wrestle.

I am hesitant to release names because we have had our seeding meeting the more changes we have to make, the later in the night the final brackets will come out.

My goal is to have all brackets created, assigned to mats, and matches numbered at a reasonable time this evening...

The more adjustments we have to make...the later that will take place.

I hope that makes sense.

Just curious about 150 - 165 12 and under. Noticed we are combining those two weight groups for a total of 14 wrestlers.

150-165 Bracket is looking sweet. I would like to see it stay that way. It seems these two weights normally have three or four kids every week at best and its the same ones each time.

We asked at weigh ins and no one seemed to know how or when we go about getting coaches passes. Can some one fill us in?

I see East Kansas won the 14U team trophy. Did anyone pick it up?

love the music but stop playing some of that slow stuff. i almost went to sleep on a couple of those songs. sure wish i could have been able to wrestle while the music was playing back in the day. i might have one a match or two if that were the case. reminded me of the movie meatballs when the kid can only win while they are playing music.

Unless I missed that in the movie "Meatballs" I know that was the case in the movie "Take Down"
