Pratt, and Pelland did an awesome job Saturday. Great start time, great finish time, and especially the accommodating weigh in. Looks like dist. 1, 2, and 3 wishing they would of did the same thing. I could care less if dist 1,2 or 3 even had a weigh in at all. All kids next week will be under the same guidelines.

is there anyway to have a satelite checkers game? or would that give me an advantage somehow as well? it would certainly take the "full contact" out of full contact checkers now wouldn't it? there are strict rules making sure that everyone consumes the exact same amount of adult beverage. so no one gets an advantage over their opponent, of course.

I would love to come & see this!! Sad part is that its probably to far to drive. Every thing is so far to travel to in the wild wild west. If you boys give me an 7 hour advance notice is the only way ill have a chance of making it.

The only adult thing about this post is the initial post and full contact checkers conversation.lol The rest sounds like a bunch of 2nd graders arguing about "that's not fair, Johnny got to eat before me!!" Seriously, the kids are not upset about the extended weigh-in in D4 are they? If they are, then we have a discussion. Otherwise, let's let this sport stay with who it is intended for........THE KIDS!! Just my opinion, which I'm sure will be dissected.

Well since we haven't had any rain out in the wild wild west I know we don't have the greenest grass.

Oh no!! District 4 has to start drinking at 1:00 and quit at 8:00 All other district can only drink from 6:00-8:00 Then the matches start at 8:30 lol

I agree weigh ins should be uniform with all districts, it just looks better for all involved. My son weighed in at around 6:00, but he didn't complain about the others that weighed in early. It wasn't a disadvantage to district 1,2,3 because they didn't wrestle district 4 kids. This week it will all be the same. Also district 2, I believe ran split format which gave the afternoon kids an advantage over the morning wrestlers for hydration, calories, sleep. But this only effected district 2 kids. I think a split format would be nice to cut down on the amount of spectators in the gyms. But again all the districts should be doing the same thing to cut down on the perception of unfairness. Good luck to all at State.

That was your 112th last post just FYI lol It's kind of like me when I fall asleep on the couch and my wife comes down to tell me to shut off the TV and come to bed. Suddenly I wake up, tell her that I am watching TV, and soon doze off again. It's a vicious cycle.
