Congratulations to Brian Morelan (12 92 lbs.) on his 5th place state finish. From February to subs he wrestled with a 1/3 of his index finger swollen 3X it's normal size. He just taped it to his middle finger and continued on, until subs through state where he did not want to expose a weakness and refused to tape it. His mother took him to the Dr. today. After X-Ray results it is still completely broken apart and unattatched. He will have corrective surgery Monday. He wrestled through this to a 54-13 finish to the year and 5th at state.
Congratulations to the other 2 Cougar placers at state. their hard work definately showed at State.
