Maybe you should have went to those tournament and you wouldn't have to wonder what little Johnny beat what other little Johnny so you know where you little Johnny stacks up.

No disrespect to Johnnys out there.

we went to great bend. don't really care what little johnny did or how my kid stacks up to other kids. just wanted to see how some kids are doing that aren't even in the same age group. You get busy and are unable to see how other kids did.

how can we go to every tournament out there, come on, getting the results makes it funner for everybody. I'm volunteering to post the Ellis results on Monday of next week. I'm sure every club could find one person to volunteer to post the results if they would just ask.

I love reading posts from people that have made hundreds or even thousands of posts, at all hours of the day, but usually during the work day. It is great to see them pass judgment on others and their interest in kids wrestling as if their facination with sport is reasonable, but everyone else's is foolish and a waste of time.

Let's face it; anyone who is on this site (including me) probably has more important ways to spend their time. Acting as if others are doing something wrong shows a real arrogance about your own actions.

And you picked my post to respond to because? I think your facination with me or my post is well facinating!

Sorry to disappoint you. I actually thought it would quote Teamroper and you. But yours was last in the sequence, so I picked it.

I by no means try to imply everyone else is foolish.

I do however try to state a different perspective.

I have spent alot of time(for two weeks every evening) posting result of the tournament I help manage. I did it only for the reason because people ask for it and I don't want anyone thinking bad about our tournament. (Hutch/TLWC)

I also know there are options out there for tournament directors (Trackwrestling) to make that easier. We are still a little afraid of some of the past wrecks of a TW tournament. They are declining rapidly but still offer concern for us.

This will possibly be the last year or the Hutch/TLWC running without TW. I have an oppurtunity to be involved in another tournament to learn how it operates.

Maybe after that I won't have such a strong opinon on folks asking for results.

I am not going to lie I go through and look at the results for possible match ups later in the year, but I am also not critical of tournament that don't get the posted.

Asking for help from other parents to post results would save you the headache of trying to do it all yourself. Perhaps?

Agreed. I love Kids Wrestling and looking at who we may run into later in the year is what makes wrestling along with sports in general very exciting. Of course, it takes results being posted in order to make this happen.
