Can someone please explain how track wrestling seeds kids? It's my first year of entering kids for my club. I'm originally from a state that doesn't use track wrestling and we ranked kids based on records. I enter a kid and rank them honestly but I'll have a kid that has one of the best ranking per trackwrestling end up with the last seed wrestling the other kid with the best record, while a kid with no wins is wrestling another kid with a losing record.

Thqt is one of the faults of TW, the seed them (as far as I can tell) by their ranking.

I have seen it alot this year bottom side of the ages kids get 1-4 seed while the top side kids that didn't have a great record get the bottom seeds.

TW doesn't seem to take into account that the kids just jumped up a age group which as we all know makes all the difference in the world.

I have had questions about the seeding all season! Not that it matters, you have to wrestle them all to win, but to be undefeated on the season and have beat everyone in the bracket, and not be seeded? Not sure how that works!!
