The only thing I have heard of in the past is to split 4A into 2 divisions like the some other sports.

I don't know them all but football was the main driver and I think there were a handful of other sports included last year.

I think the drive for wrestling lost alot of steam and hasn't been talked about for some time.

I don't think there will be any changes like this for wrestling. If anything changes for our qualifier, I think 5A and 6A may go to 2 16 man regionals qualifying the top 8 to state. That's been discussed by the coaches for awhile now and has some merits.

The main change I'd like to see is a dual state championship wrestled in conjunction with the individual state series, or the week after. I think that is the #1 thing we could do to help grow the sport.

I would love to see 5A & 6A move to 16 team regionals. Is this an actual possibility?

I'd also support the addition of dual state. However, I think that proposal would be more difficult to pass.
