The team still won it, I just got screwed in the semis. We beat Garden's JV by 6 or 7 for the team title.

Are you talking about two years ago, because OE had champs at 140, 145, 152, and 160?

Too bad Western KS small schools are constantly snubbed in the very prestigious J.V. State selection process. If they were universally recognized for their obvious expertise, then Norton would mostly likely dominate at this pinnacle of JV wrestling.

speaking of good j.v wrestlers pratt has more of them than any other team that i can think of. we won the ulysses jv tourney and the larned jv tourney and the stafford jv toury that had buhler, garden city, scott city, and dodge city. we have a 103 pounder that took 5th at kids state last year a 135 pounder that has qualified for state 4 times. 2 145 pounders who have both qualified for kids state 3 times one of whom placed 3rd. a 152 who placed 5th at state last year, a 160 pounder who has qualified for state 5 years and has gotten 2nd and 3rd. a 171 pounder who was an undefeated state champ two years ago, and many kids who are great atheletes who just started wresling last year in 8th grade. so if ya ask me, i think if there was a jv state pratt would certainly be in the running
