Based on the rankings 152 (3-2-1A) could use more competition.

I bet he stays at 145, because if he went up to 152, people would say he was running from drennan, and he wouldnt want that, but part of me wants to see him go to 152, just to see if drennan follows him because drennan said he went to 145 to wrestle pyle so people wouldnt say last year was an upset.

if i were pyle i would stay 145 (and i think he will do that) , but i think with some hard work and a little luck pyle can beat drennan

a little luck? pyle is a two time state champ, and he already beat drennan at least once before. if he beats drennan, i doubt its from luck.

Only once, and I agree I wouldn't consider it luck if Pyle won. He's a great wrestler, but I will be pulling for Dremman to make it two in a row.

pyle and drennans record is 1-1 apiece each beating one another at the last two state tournments. i hope pyle and drennan stay in the same weight just for the fact that it is always more exciting to watch to of these best in the state go at. and as far as i am concerened the the match is def. not in anyone of the twos favor right now. we all know both are capable of winning the match and it would be no upset for either.

who really cares what weight pyle goes to. we should be talking about how hot his sister is. and have him give us her number so we can call her. by the way does she go to all your meets. let me know.

i'm pretty sure pyle is going 145 and johnson from norton wrestled 45 at their home tourney this weekend and if he stays there that will be an awsome match to watch at state

I hope this year if Drennan and Pyle are at the same weight.. they dont get put on the dang same side of the bracket at state.. if johnson from norton isn't at that weight, then drennan vs. pyle should be the state match, as well as it should have last year.

i hope all three wrestlers stay at 145 drennan, johnson, and pyle. what a treat for fans that would be to see these 3 go at it at the state tournment. johnson 2 time state champ 3 time state placer, pyle 2 time state champ 3 time state placer, and drennan state champ last year and 3 time state placer.

Only bad thing is that it is very possible that Pyle could be in the same quarterfinal w/ either Drennan, Engelbert or Johnson. And if not there then certainly in the semi-finals because Johnson, Engelbert and Drennan will be at the same regional.

Pyle is at 145 and he will stay there. Trust me he is a competitor and he knows that his only competition is at 145. He would wax anyone at 152 or 140. It's just too bad that he won't get a tough match in this part of the state.

Do you folks think Johnson can even hang with Pyle and Drennon? I think Johnson will be at 140 after getting beat this weekend. And I'm sure if Pyle needs alittle competion, he can find it at 152 around east ks. Abilene has a pretty good kid there.

i think we should give johnson some credit he is a two time state champ for a reason. and as far as comp. goes drennan and pyle haven't had comp. since last season and that was only when they wrestled eachother, so as far as moving up i would have to agree with the last post saying that pyle would kill at 152. if they want a challange the best thing is for all 3 johnson pyle and drennan to stay at 145.

Johnson deserves a lot more credit than you guys give him credit for. He just came off a knee injury that had kept him out until then and still made it to the finals.

I will give Johnson some credit of being a two timer right now but i don't think he will hang with Drennen or Pyle. I think that he will try to stay out of there way to get his third Title I would love to see them all go at it but Drennen is going to come out on top. I think remember Johnson dad saying that he could beat Drennen and Pyle well here ya go let him be in the same weight there is no way he will win it. :p
