http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8387168/ Bush was trying to cover up and "answer" all the questions he had seen in the media. He tris to tie 9/11 to the War but he is really finishing off where his daddy left off. He is much like a used car sales me.....or one of you high school guys telling a girl what she wants to hear so he can get what he wants! Uhhhh, I'm not gonna give a clear time table cause it might tip off the bad guys. What he means is he is not gonna give an organized time or any leades to when, because he is afraid it might come back to bite him in the butt. Kind of like when he was on that naval ship and said that "We have succeeded". He was hoping he could say that not let the american people know we were still fighting and get it done while nobody is looking but it got out of control.

Go Bush!! I love that guy. He's only doing what any old frat guy would do if given the power to control the world.

The problem with a time table is that people naturally want to put dates on every task. However, I would like to see a plan (without dates) with objectives that could be checked off one by one so that we can see progress being made toward getting our soldiers home. I agree with President Bush that we don't want to set some arbitrary date; we want to come home when our objectives have been met.

It's those **** democrats who freak out about everything. Thank God I live in Kansas and attend a liberal school, that way I get the freedom liberals need while still enjoying a good war with a weaker country any day.

That is my point. He did not give a check of list, because he will come back and haunt him. Dick Cheny was trying to be a "Bush" when he also made it sound like this is almost done and over with till Donald Rumsfield and others steped in and said this is years away from the end at best. He prances around in his "G.I. Joe outfit trying to convince you he is a worker. Trying to convince you he is like the common man. As if he is out in the fields working with his hands down in Texas. He is a rich boy who's parents paid for school. He knows how to bump elbows with the high class, but still has that "frat boy" thinking. He thinks this is a game much like that of the board game "risk"

Ya know billy. I am saying our country is not for a game of fun by some rich kid who never has done any hard work in his life.

He works hard, he's just not that good at what he does. He also has enough balls to talk about all of his screw ups, unlike other presidends who are thought to be better, but really were worse. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that John Kerry is a sissy girl and would have made a bad president.

I didn't like either of them but Kerry was more sincer. He was not a used car salesmen. I would rather have daddy Bush there instead of his dad. He has no mind of his own except that "I'M IN CONTROL. YESSSSSSSSS!" It always cracks me up when one president messes up they talk about the last. The only thing Bill did wrong was lie about a BJ. Any man with a wife would have done that. Clinton's BJ did not affect people getting killed.
Also with you soon being a college student and going to liberal KU. I think you would read Bush's thoughts about school related issues. He doesn't care how the students pay for it cause he thinks that our parents like his will pay for school. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

TCarmona, While I am a Bush supporter, I will be the first to admit that some things could have possibly be done differently. However, I will be the first to put a majority of this blame on Slick Willie Clinton. After the USS Cole was attacked Clinton had the opportunity to get bin Laden but refused to do so. They knew that he had camps in Ahghanistan but Clinton refused to take any action. Clinton was also offered bin Laden by the Sudanese government but turned down the offer. So for you to say that the only thing he did wrong was lie about a BJ is a farce.

Who and where is this coming from. Is this coming out recently do to People not being able to defend Bush. I don't care about Liberal, Democrat or Republican. I usually vote for who I think will be honest and take care of the people. I will say that many republicans do get mad after while with no defense and just say...."well you are just a liberal!" That is about as bad as saying. Well your stupid. Then name calling and trying to point out other peoples faults does nothing to help the now. Where he was trying to finish off what daddy did in Iraq in 1991.

Well there are many things that I don't......agree with. Many college kids probably haven't read some of his thoughts on tuition or aid. He assumes that many parents pay for their school. He was a rich frat boy who partied it up and didn't have to pay for school. I think it was funny when they showed him speaking at one university saying, "See what a C student can do." Well it's more like see what oil Texas money can do. He is not helping out college students or middle class people. That is why he also is trying to get the S.S. stuff to turn into investments for stocks. Not everyone knows how to used those and the 12-14 hour a day people aren't gonna have time to get caught up with figuring how to manage their stocks. I could go on for days of many people don't read that he says himself. My point for this was that everything he said was more or less damage control.

If Bush were allowed to run in 2008, I'd vote for him. He's awesome.

I guess the liberals of the forum would preferr Jimmy Carter right now. 444 days of sipping tea with Iran while they tortured Americans says it all, and once again a real man has to take the unpopular lead and kick some a$$ just the same. Reagan stepped up to the plate for weenie Carter and Bush is steping up for ole Bills short comings.
