Well, 6A rankings should be out in about a week, giving us all plenty to argue about. Let's see if any of us can try and guess what the good ol' coaches over in Salina are thinking and put down our own ranking predictions.

what weight are u and that scrappy fool sonderroger going? How is the team looking? losing the millers and ecker could be a deep deficit in tournament action.

I'm moving up to 215 and Sonderegger's going up to 160. The team's actually looking a lot better than it has in a while. Our 189 should place in the top six at state and we have a lot of kids from last year that will be sophmores and juniors that did freestyle and greco all summer. We'll have an overall more solid team this year, rather than five standout wrestlers with the rest being terrible.

In other news I'm glad you said something about the KU wrestling club. KU called me and want me to apply for this big scholarship because of my test scores which was cool, but when I asked them if they had a Rec club they said no. Knowing that I'll be able to go up to Lawrence and maybe beat on you next year is awesome.

And i can see that u must have grown a bit if ur going up to 215. Id figure sondy wouldve gone 160, but i wonder what the scranny kid, Marshall Martins, will be going. He said he weighed like 130 at EK practice. Possibly 119??

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Marshall's going to be going 119. I on the other hand only grew about an inch but I put on a lot of muscle over the summer. I'm still kinda fat but oh well, whatcha gonna do?. Plus last year I cut from 230 all the way to 189 in November and fourty pounds in a month almost killed me. By the end of the season I was feeling terrible. Hey, what weight is Clayton going? He should have a good year.

P.S. I had one of your wrestling coached as a sub in my weights class. I think his name was Coach Whittaker but I'm not sure. Anyways, he says hi.

Hey, my name's Rark Mobinson. I wrestled 189 last year at SM East, but near the end of the season I was getting sick from it and kind of died out, even losing at state to a guy I'd easily pinned a month or so before. It was fine though, I consoled myself with some nachos which in the end made up for it.

I don't think we see you guys. We might of at Colby last year if you guys were there but we're not going this year. The only other place you guys might be is Basehoor-Linwood, but I have no idea. Too bad though, you're the only junior that placed at 215 last year that I haven't wrestled.

If Jhris is ranked at 215, then it will be a travesty if I am not. I DID win the World Series of wrestle-offs with him, 4-3...So to whoever ranks people: Don't rank Jhris. Rank Prant.

Man, match seven must've been a doozy. Where can I pick up the highlight film Prant?

Well, if you must know, I lost to Prant the first 4 times, because i was a sophomore and i hadn't lifted a weight in my life. He was a junior and had strength on his side. Then, after some hard practices, and some Taco Bell, I was able to rattle off 3 straight wins, including a sudden-death overtime match for the finale. It was quite the match indeed, which put me on varsity for the rest of the season.....Poor Prant....

Also, chalk it up to the fact that not five minutes before the 2nd of those three wins for Jhris, Prant lost his Wendy's in the puke bucket. Seriously, it was gross. Unfortunately, Prant was still forced to wrestle even though he was ill...

That day I choked on my JBC and french fry vomit almost as bad as Jhris choked at regionals a few weeks later.

Hey Prant, it must have slipped my mind. Tell me how you did at state the one year you went, and how I did the year I went.........riiiight.......also tell me how you did your senior season in football, and how I'm doing in mine......

Now Prant, were you more disheartened by losing the match to Jhris, or losing your Wendy's, because that will truly determine if you're a big boy or not. I remember the time I lost my Burger King and I was inconsolable for at least five minutes. It was brutal really. I don't know how I ever coped with it.

I just want to chime in and say something that Prant nor JhrisCennings have ever done: had 1-2% body fat during the wrestling season. Ahhhhh, it feels soooo good now, all that insane cutting was worth it, looking near anorexic/dead and repulsively skinniness just to say that. My day has come gentlemen. I have won....up up up...not a word...
