From across the globe, I just want to say hell yeah to Clay Center for bringing back the title to the hometown. congrats to coach Charby.
It is always sweeter when you beat your biggest rivals and send them home with a smaller trophy.
but on the other side it is good that the NCKL got 1st and 2nd. kick *ss

it was great steve, clay wrestled like animals this weekend and placed 7 in the top 4. wish you could've been there.

Steve, it was great and sweet! You remember the feeling when we topped Country Club Hill a few years back coming home from winning Class 4A three years ago. Well, it was even better this year and yes, it still brings a lump in your throat and tears to your eyes!! The boys also had a hard time holding back their emotions today and we are all drained!! The crowd awaiting to greet us on Sunday was great! Sure wish you could have been here, but we know you where there with us in thoughts!!
Congrats to Clay Center on their 4A State Championship.

I could never forget that picture of us coming over that hill and that morning. I wish i could of been there, but i guess clay center will just have to win it again next year so i can watch them come back into town.

I do believe they saw each other twice. Clay bested them at their toury and Norton bested them at Newton. I don't know about a dual.

Congrats Clay Center. I have had fun watching you guys wrestle. Good luck at Ft. Hays Danny. Jake, I know the season did not end like you had planned but what you did helped your team win a TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. That is something my son always hoped to achieve. Hey Jake my daughter says hello. The 9 year old not the 16 year old.
