Lansing Wrestlers,

I left out 3 studs from our lineup.

Bobby Hamilton - 119lbs (Senior) (HS State qualifer)

Eric Wessel - 152 (Junior) (Took HS season off last year, but placed 3d at 16U 145lbs kids state this year)

Casey Caton - 171lbs (Junior) (HS state qualifer)

Coach Budke - I will give you a ring. Me and my brother diffently want to train with you. Also my dad said another Army guy came into town whou was a college all american and is a friend of yours. We need to get him in as well.

We wrestled Lansing several times last year and the year before. I honestly think they were much more mentally tougher last year which is a tribute to some of their leadership. I also think they could have contended for a title in 4a. We caught some breaks when we beat Lansing last year and we beat Clay in a small tournament. Clay had a tremendous state tournament which is part of their team concept. If I was a preseason ranker, I would have them 1 or 2 regardless of the classification. Their biggest hurdle is breaking down that fall on your face state tournament burier that SFT has a problem with. Mock my words Swayz, they are for real!

Happy Wrestling, Kirk

One more word if I may, The biggest difference in 4a is the parity among teams. They tend to beat up on one another and who ever squeaks out some important wins comes out on top. You could win 4a with just over 100 points or maybe less if bracketing falls right. Should be interesting this year.
