What all recommendations does everyone have for any foods, drinks, vitamin type supplements, or anything else (LEGAL AND ETHICAL ONLY PLEASE!) that would help a wrestler on match day (be it dual or tournament). Thanks.

Honey helps alot of people. Dont eat so much that you cant move either. Milk often weighs you down. Fruits would be somethign good to eat. Stay away from the mcdonalds. I would also like to find somethign else to eat that doesn;t weigh me down but gets me up quick.

The day of a duel or 1 day tournament just eat normal, like whatever you would when its not wrestling season.
2 day tournaments same thing, but not as much because of the second weigh-in.

Advocare is good stuff. I was a user for 4 years and used it for more than just wrestling. Im not sure if they still make it or not, but I used spark, which was a powder I just mixed with orange juice about an hour or 45 minutes before a match. I could definately tell a difference if I was using it or not using it, it gave me soo much energy in the 3rd period that I normaly would not have had. The only bad part is a lot of the times I would pin my opponets before the 3rd period and I would end up wasting a package of spark.
