Well who am I kidding we like to win but trieng is what matters. My son was lucky enough to bring 3rd back to Western Kansas. Congrats to Ty Roark the champion.

tayton thought that ty was a cool kid and hoped mabey next year he will see him again. I told him that he will probably have to wrestle him again someday. He said he cant wait. You should come up to goodland aug 6th we are having a PBR. Iam buddies with alot of the guys in the top 45 and most of them are comming to it because the built ford tough is on a break. It should be a awesome event. See I told ya we couldnt wait until rodeo season was here. The bad part about rodeo season is that I spend most the summer needing my wife to pull me out of bed. Its a rush its all worth it.

if there is a roark involved they will be wrestling throughout highschool. tough wrestling family. dads, uncles, cousins and now the new generation has started their quest. talked to ty's dad in Ottawa. very good guy to talk to. though columbus is way down in the se corner of the state. along ways away from goodland. good fishing down there by columbus though. im sure the roarks have some good fishing holes down there. also has big brutus near by. oh yeah its real close to the best university in kansas in pitt state. home of the gorillas. maybe someday they will start a wrestling program.

I dont know whos had more fun this year me or my boys.Having being out of wresting for a while I had forgotten what a really good bunch of people the youth wrestling communitty is.Ours family has made new freinds as well renewing old freindships. And yes we do have some awesome fishin holes down here se kan,as well as world class sporting clays at the inlaws Claythorne Lodge.Pitt State is great college,I have been lobbying the board of regents for 20years to start a wrestling program.Hopefully someday they will see the light..... If any of you all pass through southern cherokee county be sure to look us up and say hey..By the way, we might have to make a PBR trip next august, sounds like a good time, always did enjoy watching good rodeo bull fighters....
