Team Kansas will have a very respectable six All-Americans!

Kenneth Ornelas will be vying for 5th; while Roger Windham, Kendric Maple, Tyler Caldwell and Boaz Beard will by challenging the best in the Nation for 3rd!

That will leave one to wrestle for a National Championship tonight ... C.J. Napier!

This group of Srs rose to the occassion. Who knew that last week at the Sr. Classic the Maples/Napier bout was featuring two of the top 4 kids in the U.S. at 135?

team kansas climbs to 7th. 4-1 nice round. 2 spots ahead of our rivals to the east! missouri has 4 aa's including 1 finalist. randy, whats the best team finish for kansas? it seems like oklahoma doesnt represent this tourney any year. i know they have talent do they just not make this event a priority?

I hope there has been a data entry error as the online brackets indicate Boaz Beard will be wrestling for fifth (5th) place.

I know back in the early 90's ware from ark city won this tourny and a couple others from kansas the same year that was probally before they kept team scores but i would have to say this is the best year for sure kansas has ever brought this year can also be mentioned with one of the best.

Roger Windham scores a takedown with 4 seconds remaining in the overtime period and about 10 seconds later, jumps into the arms of his coaches!

Roger Windham is an All-American, earning the Bronze Medal!

Kenneth Ornelas III finishes 6th in the NHSCA Senior Nationals. Kenneth wrestles well but loses, 1-3 giving up a late takedown.

Kenneth Ornelas III is an All-American!

Kendric Maple displayed a great deal on intestinal fortitude. With 30 seconds, Kendic scores the tying escape and with 15 seconds left, scored the winning takedown. Maples gave a late escape but that would not change the outcome ... 3-2!

Bronze Medalist and All-American from Kansas ... Kendric Maple!

Tyler Caldwell would stage a dramatic comeback to win his bout. After two periods, he was trailing ... 0-2. Wrestling from bottom he scored an escape with 0.45 left. Then with 20 seconds left, he scored a takedown to peril and earned the fall!

Tyler Caldwell is an All-American and your Bronze Medalist!
