Is it possible to get rid of, change, or move the by-law meetings during the seeding meeting? Or at least offer them at the end of the meetings to where individuals can stay if they want to hear the new changes? There is always way too much time spent on other topics other than seedings. I understand official votes, and new addition to by-laws regarding the state tourney run, but District 1 I know for sure spent too much time discussing matters NOT at hand. Almost 5 hours sitting our rumps on a hard/unsupported/UN-backed bleacher was ridiculous and inhumane :), OK maybe not inhumane, but you catch my drift?
With the way technology is evolving, there should be online votes for certain by-law changes. Each club has a liaison, tally's the votes within the club, and reports back to, or enters their info in an online questionnaire of some sort. That way, 5 hours isn't spent talking about things that 80% of the crowd doesn't care to hear. Not being negative, but today's Dist 1 N meeting could have been cut in half, if not more...
Good luck at state everyone!!!
