Well I may have to jump into the honeycombs for the rest of the season if for nothing else the dominant hips. Superior where are all your connections from Hat Town? I know they've got input on a research topic as valuable to the wrestling community as Favorite Cereal! C'mon Hat Town join Steveville for this one! And Superior Steve, you didn't hear this from me, but it's rumored that Ressurection Steve was seen eating Fruit Loops at my house tonight. You'd have to ask Hamburgler Steve for conformation!

Holy Cripes! Where's Prant when you need him? We're on the verge of collecting the data that would allow us to design and market a cereal just for wrestlers ....... and the 6A state champs are missing from our discussion! So far, the most popular ingredient seems to be SUGAR (with toys) ....... oh yes, and we'll need a name ..... a catchy one!

Steves, please forgive me for not responding to this topic. I do not want you to think for a moment that cereal is not of the utmost importance to me and my Hat Town brethren. I assure you: it is. The reason for my absence on such an important topic is because I've been hobknobbing with high-faluting state legislators in NY so they don't cut the tuition aid to poor Steves east of the Mississippi. (Cutting tuition for poor people is certainly not dominant.)

As for the more important issue, cereal, I must say that it is too much to contemplate for one simple post. Boxes of cereal which I enjoy include:

Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Peanut Butter Crunch
Corn Pops
Golden Grahams
Cracklin' Oat Bran
Raisin Nut Bran
Cocoa Puffs
Maple 'n' Brown Sugar oatmeal (certainly the most dominant of all oatmeals.)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ..... good game Prant! ..... keep up the fight ...... cutting tuition for poor people certainly would mean less cereal to eat! ......... but, you have also introduced a category of cereals we have yet to consider ......... those with some nutritional value! ....... add taste, toys and a catchy brand name ...... and we might be close to production on our cereal for wrestlers ......... but can it taste good and be good for you (with or without toys)?

PAPA .... this explains the psycho part, and why he grew up to love physical pain so much ..... who was throwing the ball at him? ...... nice head shot! ....... now I feel bad for making him run the ball so much and play both ways

Mike ... remember ....... dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge!

To Fris ............ check out the thread ..... we are researching wrestlers' favorite breakfafst cereals.

unfortunately i hadn't received my dodgeball training at such a young age....but our team has a tournament this sunday...we are going in ranked #2....so hope we can pull it off....in response to PAPA's post....they were only preparing me for battle....and yes i did grow to love the pain...giving and getting....

now back to cereal...Prant brought forth many good types...but i still believe honeycombs are the best...

Thanks fris ....... I think we have the ingredients for our wrestlers' cereal down ..... next questions to be answered are as follows:

1) Cereal Name (should include the word "dominant" somewhere on the box)

2) Art (what or who should be on the box representing our great sport?)

3) Toys (what things would wrestlers like to find in their cereal boxes?) **make sure they fit and leave some room for the cereal

4) A catchy slogan to market our product

5) A spokesperson (who do we get to sell this?)

Man...I should have gotten in on this one a lot earlier. I just don't get it. But then again, I don't have time to read the 7,000 other posts on this topic.

Congrats, Aquinas!
Great job, Hat Town!

1) "Dominant Toasties"

2) Dan Gable, Myron Roderick, John Smith and Cael Sanderson - standing shoulder-to-shoulder, with arms folded across chests.

3) Miniature Referee' whistle.

4) "For the dominator in each of you"

5) Steve McQueen was the obvious choice, but too late for that. Jack Nicholson with the Chief from Cuckoo's Nest.

Another idea for promoting the product...have the primary sponsor for our NASCAR ride be "Dominant Toasties", Sheryl Crow singing "Steve McQueen" in the background, have the digital re-make of McQueen driving up in his Ford Mustang, brandishing a box of Dominant Toasties. With proceeds going to wrestling programs nationwide (and under priviledged families). The sky is the limit...

Nice touch, PAPA, working that male and collectors market...sugar coated Toasties for kids, salted coated Toasties as finger food at bars and restaurants. Distribution plant in Steveville, to boost economy (the Battle Creek of the Plains).
