Trying to see if anyone knows of any openings for Wrestling Coach Assistant. I live on the Northeast side of wichita and would prefer one of the closer schools but am willing to drive. NEED wrestling in my life again. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Go back and use your wrestling eligibility and get a degree...that is my idea.

Well locally all that is offered is Newman and after all scholarships are given out I still had to come up with 3 grand a semester. But I was thinking about going somewhere else to wrestle just haven't pinned anything yet.

What are you weighing? I know a few schools that need upperweight guys for next year. Tons of Jucos and DII schools mainly.

And you think you can go to KU for less than 3 G's a semester? It cost that much just for on campus parking!
KU 2005-06 Approved Tuition and Required Fees Lawrence, full-time per semester * Students Tuition & Fees (15 hours) $2,412.00 $294.50
That's just the base rate for Gen Ed classes add another $20.00 to $100.00 for your major or declaired classes per credit hour.
*Books not included! there's another $500.00

What he didn't mention was that he's part wrestler part genius, and $3000 a semester at newman means he got $5000 to $6000 a semester paid for.

Ya I have already spoke with an advisor at KU. I'm getting 95% of my school paid for through academics still based out of high school from two years ago (can't believe its almost been that long) and then a refund check back from FAFSA money. I still, after almost 4 semesters including classes taking during high school have purchased only one book and I freaking lost it before I could use it. But school costs money no doubt

Part genius at Newman dose not equate to part genius at KU! There is a long list of very bright people in Lawrence that are not on scholarship. I promise you they want their money! I'm aware of what kind of money that is given out at Newman... Been there, done that!
