If he hasn’t already, Joe Knecht is going to email your club instructions for entering weights on the computer. Tonight after practice would be great. If for some reason someone did not get that email by late today, go ahead and send them to that email that I posted above for Joe. Joe.knecht@gmail.com
He would prefer that you did it online, but if an email slipped through the cracks for the instructions, sending them to Joe‘s email will work

I am the Girls Head Coach at Olathe North and I am not a fan of splitting the divisions more at this point. Looking at the numbers above they seem about where they should be or even a little high to me. There are already 40% of the girls qualifying for state and 15% winning medals, that seems about right to me. I think the bigger problem is on the boys side, where in my opinion we have too many divisions and that it is to easy to qualify and win a medal. in my opinion if we want to make wrestling better in Kansas, the solution isn't to make it easier on boys and girls to qualify and win medals, the more competitive the better. Growing up in Iowa where in the big class you had to be top 2 out of 8 teams at regionals or in the lower classes top 2 out of 16 it was such a big deal just to make it to state, kept all the athletes hungry and motivated them to really work hard. Not sure if that would have been the case if nearly 1/2 the wrestlers qualified for state.

Re: KANSAS ALL-CLASS DUAL TEAM - 2024

Wow!! A dominant tournament by what could be our toughest All-Class dual team in Kansas history. We took nine #1 All-class wrestlers into the Mid-America Center as the defending high school champions and ran straight over the high school bracket.
This has become an EPIC event with a long history. After winning 10 of 12 years at the Rocky Mountain Nationals, Kansas is now a 2X Champion at the Heartland National Duals.
So many to thank! Dal Eck and James Cook have been heroic, taking care of most of the heavy lifting for an event this size. Thanks to our coaching staff, Ken Kepley, Ryne Cokeley, Kameron Frame and Javier Vieyra!
Thanks to Blue Chip Athletic for our stunning gear!
KANSAS PYTHONS went 6-0 79-0 vs Nebraska 2 51-3 vs Kansas Rattlers 72-3 vs Nebraska 1 62-3 vs Iowa 54-13 vs Oklahoma 53-15 vs South Dakota
KANSAS RATTLERS went 4-2 3-51 vs Kansas Pythons 35-25 vs Oklahoma 20-34 vs South Dakota 46-15 vs Nebraska 1 37-22 vs Iowa 44-15 vs Nebraska 2
SEVEN guys went undefeated!
Ezekiel Witt - 6-0 - 4 falls Easton Broxterman - 6-0 - 5 falls Kaden Allen - 6-0 - 4 falls Owen Eck - 6-0 - 4 falls Colin McAlister - 6-0 - 5 falls Ronan Wunsch - 6-0 - 2 falls Luke Fischer - 6-0 - 3 falls
OUTSTANDING WRESTLER of the High School Division!
