Turner Kids Wrestling club has extra rooms available at the Capital Plaza Hotel if anyone is interested. These are rooms reserved the weekend of Kids State March 29-30. You may contact either my self at dtbailes@aol.com or Stephanie Martinez our Coordinator at martinezs@turnerusd202.org.

To anyone that has responded to either Stephanie or myself. If there are any rooms available after the weekend of Districts I will get ahold of you in the order that the emails were received. Thanks for all of the responses.

I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that this club doesn't have any rooms left. They had agreed to give rooms to a club that they have had a very good relationship with in the past. They made a verbal promise that this club would have first choice for rooms after they took what they needed for there club. They never returned any call and needless to say left this club high and dry for rooms at Capital Plaza and since I was dumb enough to beleive that a promise still meant something our kids and coaches are now looking for rooms elsewhere. Just a little bit of advice try not to burn to many bridges you may need a favor in the future.

Just heard from Topeka CVB and she said the Clubhouse Inn & Suites have a couple suites BUT things are going quickly. Don't know price - sorry. Information is below

We do not have any rooms that we know of available for this weekend. HOWEVER, we do have 10 rooms at the Ramada for Saturday ONLY!

I just got off the phone with the GM of the Super 8 on South Topeka Blvd. about three minutes from the Expocentre. They have three rooms available for both nights. $69.99 a night (785) 862-2222.
