The following weigh in proceedures were sent out via email this morning to all club directors...please check you emails and cofirm receipt so we can verify that everyone has the correct information. Thank you.

-----------------------------------

You are receiving this email because you have requested to host a home site weigh in for the Silver Lake Open/Novice Tournament and have agreed to the following protocol.
1) Weigh in shall be conducted by bronze certified coach utilizing certified scale

3) Weigh in will be conducted no sooner than Noon on Saturday, FEB 2nd, and weights will be reported NLT 8:00pm on Saturday, FEB 2nd, through trackwrestling as instructed.

"Home site" weigh in sites are an important tool that add a level of convenience to your club members. However, the integrity of weigh in process is arguably the most important component to a successful tournament. Please honor the responsibility given to you as you carry out the weigh in process.

I have provided the details needed below. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at 785/224-5161 or my Assistant Tournament Director (Lonnie Woodman) at 785/207-1082.
Please ensure each kid is checked for skin and finger nail issues. If a kid is overweight, please go ahead and bump them up to the correct weight class.

Instructions: (Please make sure all steps are completed for all wrestlers by 8PM Saturday, FEB 2nd)

Scott,
Silver Lake has a great event planned on Sunday. I am only “volunteering” my time (along with few others) to assist their club this weekend, so I do not know everything they have planned. I will say that in the heat of getting tournaments going, regrettably details sometimes get over looked. One veteran to another, I apologize if I offended you by failing to play the national anthem at the Capital City Challenge in order to get the tournament under way. I assure you that I had the music keyed up and we did play it the previous day at the high school event.

If you or Jimmy want to discuss this further I will be unavailable tonight or tomorrow as am “volunteering” to set up and manage a high school tourney…but you can look me up Sunday and we can discuss it further. Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,
Mark Stanley

And since you called me out on this, I will tell you that our national anthem is NOT something minor that is overlooked nor should it ever BE overlooked under any circumstance. It was brought to your attention soon enough and the matches SHOULD have been stopped immediately and anthem sang. You have a problem with that mark, you can talk to me about it. Obviously you have a personal issue with me that I don't understand, you and Beeson should be hanging out with each other or something. I've tried to contact you in a nice and friendly way several times and you have ignored me, so don't come on here calling me out because I will defend myself, and if you or anyone else doesn't like it, sorry man, toughen up!
