USAW-Kansas Folkstyle State Championships

On behalf of the State Tournament Committee, I would like to congratulate all of this year’s USAW-Kansas Folkstyle State Championship qualifiers. For those who came up a little short, I sincerely hope you continue to build on the experience you had this year while pursuing your dream in the years to come.

It has been a tremendous season. The State Tournament Committee is busy transferring the top four qualifiers into the State Tournament trackwrestling site. Brackets will be built today and they will be live for public viewing tonight at 8pm.

Club directors, coaches, athletes, and parents please review your information for misspellings. I am hopeful that all of that got corrected at the sub-district and district level of competition, but this is your last opportunity to get it fixed before the program book goes to the printer and brackets are printed. Also, please report any known scratches to your District leadership, so 5th/6th place alternates from your district can be notified of the opportunity.

Good luck and safe journeys as you all prepare to make your pilgrimage to Topeka on Friday!

I would also like to say congrats to all the wrestlers, family, as well as their coaches. This has always been a fun time of the year at our house when the State Tournament rolls around.

We will be printing the names for the State Program Book tonight after 11:00 pm. If you see any errors or names mispelled, PLEASE notify us immediately so changes can be made prior to printing!

Probably just didn't get switched after brackets were made?
