Donny is going to be a Senior at DeSoto HS. He wrestled some as a youth and then picked it back up his FR year. He is a hard worker and a great young man.

Re: Blue Chip Fall Brawl - 09/23/10 08:47 PM

For whatever reason a lot of our local talent (KS and MO) wait untill the end of registration to sign up, last year we had over 150 kids that signed up in the last 24 hours of registration. I encourage all of our KS and MO wrestlers to sign up ASAP as it helps when trying to attract more kids from other states.

Re: Blue Chip Fall Brawl - 10/14/10 01:32 AM

If anyone gets the chance be sure to catch a glimpse at the inside of Coach Gary Mayabb's Wrestling room there @ Staley High School (approx. $1 million dollar wrestling room). It's unbelievable. The school in itself is gorgeous amidst the growing suburban community.

Coach Mayabb will offer a great Regional Series of Greco-Wrestling clinics in the May/June. He is one HS coach & NCAA referee and National team Greco Coach that is an outstanding wrestling mentor for all in the sport of Wrestling.

Re: Blue Chip Fall Brawl - 10/14/10 12:23 PM

I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Mayabb while wrestling for CMSU and he is not only a great official and coach, but an outstanding person to know. Another who can get an opportunity to work with him should jump at the chance.
