Who had the best team from this time period? Who scored the most points

The one that sticks out to me is Wichita West 2001.
I think they put 6 in the finals, 3-4 champs. a couple third places and some others.

The 2003 Hoxie Indians aka Baker's Dozen

As far as tough top to bottom, this team is probably it. 11 out of 13 qualifiers placed, as well as the team setting a State Record for points scored in a state tournament at 218.0 points. This is pure domination on their part considering this is a state tournament.

3 Champions
3 Runner-Ups
1 3rd
2 4ths
1 5th
1 6th

2003 Results
103- Cale Farber 2nd
112- Michael Schamberger 3rd
119- Tyler Baker 1st
125- Tyrel Spillman 2nd
130- Mat Gilliland 1st
135- Matt Schippers 1st
140- Jason Schippers 2nd
145- Curt Schamberger 6th
152- Jay Lewis 4th
160- Doug Campbell DNP
171- Ryan Shipley 4th
189- Justin Cooper DNP
215- Fred Pratt 5th
285- No Qualifier

Good Call.
Lincoln Lemon (multi placer), Mitchell Belle (placer), Justyn Martinez, Steve Burns, Zach Atkinson (all 3 scored points), both Houldens (4x placer, 1x champ).

1999 Team that dethroned Ark City qualified 14 and placed 8.

Agree with Alex.
I remember coaching against that Hoxie team.
Not good memories.

Norton was second in 2003, scoring enough points to win the tournament in most years with 163. The amazing thing is Norton also won the 3A state basketball tournament in 2003.

And if you go back another year, you get to throw in 2x champ, Brandon Bonewell.

I like the way the 2006 team ended up for Goddard too. That team (With Bonewell out with an injury) ended up with pretty good careers:
Caldwell: 4xer
Beard: 4xer
Means: 2xer, 4x placer
R. Houlden: Champ, 4x placer
Traina; Champ, multiple placer
Freeman: Champ
Chase Moses: Finalist, multiple placer
Dusty Elliott: 3x placer
Chadd Posch: 2x placer
Roman Villegas: Finalist, multiple placer

Yea I like 2006 (kind of biased though hehe), also 2006 wasn't Carroll AND Goddard in the national team rankings? Or was it Carroll one year and Goddard the other?
