Matt Reed has had an outstanding wrestling career. He has only lost two matches in the last three years! Matt qualified for for state as a freshman. He then built on that resume by finishing 3rd at State 6A 171 in 2010 as a sophomore with a 34-2 record. Matt followed that up with an undefeated 35-0 record as a junior in 2011 winning 6A 160 State. Matt has had a great senior year again finishing undefeated at 30-0 winning 6A 170 and then he recently also took first at the National Seniors Classic. Wow that is quite a high school career and I know we will be rooting for Matt Reed in his college wrestling career.

Matt Reed, Congratulations on your great high school wrestling and football career. Best of luck next year with your academics and wrestling at the University of Oklahoma.

Coach:

I am sure Matt would have you on that list too.

Coach, I do not know if you can answer this for us but I was curious if Matt has ever done the summer Olympic style wrestling in high school or if he is planning to this summer?

I remember him being undefeated All American at Schoolboy duals at Indianapolis in Greco, and 7-1 in Freestyle, so he has been at it for a while in FS GReco...

You are all correct. Matt is a very decorated and nationally renowned Greco and Free-Style Wrestler. He has told me he will be making one last trip to Fargo to try and claim a National Championship that has eluded him.

I also believe he is on the map by going something like 16-0 at Junior Duals last year smile

He was the franchise guy for our Junior Dual team last year. He went 9-0 in Greco and 8-1 in Freestyle. He beat at least three Fargo AA's. We have a 170 spot waiting for him this year in OKC!
