potential classification changes for 2017-2018 - 09/21/17 05:35 PM
The numbers for the classifications are soon to be released. Are there any predictions out there concerning how the changes may affect each classification?

Yep! You guys will be 3A and we might be! Scott City might go down as well.

This will be close...
Will Arkansas City change the face of 4A?
Will Mill Valley reach their long expected rise to 6A?
Will perennial contender Wichita Northwest drop to 5A?

Here's what I've heard for count involving some of the GWAC: Goodland 257
Colby 258
Scott City 259
I will be interested to see if Marysville and/or Russell jump back up to 4A. Heck, you could even throw in Wellsville into the mix. I'm pretty confident Hugoton will bump back up to 4A. Remember there is one new school in Olathe that will likely move the line down one this year.

6A and 5A are growing by 4 schools each correct? So the top 8 4A schools will move up won't they?

That is not until next year!
