Dodge City Hall of Fame Dual (Live Stream Info)

(#7) Dodge City hosts Pratt tonight. Varsity starts at 7pm.

Wes Owens is being inducted in to the DCWA Hall of Fame. Wes’ name will be forever enshrined in the Red Demon Wrestling Room by getting his name etched on to the Hall of Fame/All-American Wall. Wes graduated from DCHS in 1980. He was a State Finalist, 2x State Medalist, and set the DCHS Career Falls Record at the time. Wes accredits his inspiration for the sport to his first coach, Rex Pedigo, a DCHS Alumnus. Wes had a senior record of 34-2. Wes was a NJCAA National Qualifier for Dodge City Community College. He has given back to the Dodge City Wrestling Program as a Head Youth Wrestling Coach, supported all programs, and helped fund the creation of the Dodge City Wrestling Academy. Wes is currently a financial advisor with Edward Jones here in Dodge City. Wes lives in Dodge City with his wife, Shannon, while raising his daughters, Aubrey and Alivia, and his son, Canyon.
