Silver Lake Invitation, Teams needed

The SL Inv. will be held on Feb 2, 2019. The tourney is a very solid one day tourney. Our philosophy is to get teams from all classifications, 3,4,5,6A, and teams that do not normally wrestle each other. We run a JV tourney simultaneously. The JV starts on 6 mats and ends on 2 mats and is usually completed early afternoon. The varsity goes on 4 mats, we do not take breaks, dance, etc. We recognize the athletes while they are wrestling. We typically have about 20 teams and we are usually done between 4 and 6 in the afternoon. Anderson County, Burlington, Caney Valley, Chase County, Holton, Leavenworth, Maur Hill Prep, Prairie View, Riley County, Riverbend International, Rossville, Salina South, Santa Fe Trail, Seaman, Silver Lake, St. James Academy, St. Marys, Wabaunsee, Wamego, Wellsville, Wichita-West are some of the teams that typically come. We would like to add 4 or 5 teams to this list for 2019 we especially need 5A-6A schools, we have a spot for another 4A school, we probably wont entertain a spot for another 3A. Shawnee Heights, Holton, Atchison, Platte County Mo.
Newton and Liberty Mo will be coming next year.

Apologies to all. Liberty North is coming, not Liberty. I understand I walked into a hornets nest with that misstep. Lol.
