Tri-Valley League Results? - 02/12/05 07:01 PM

All I know is that Eureka got 1st, Cherryvale 2nd, and Burlington 3rd. Can anyone shed some light on the full team/individual standings?

Re: Tri-Valley League Results? - 02/16/05 06:39 AM

Question... Cherryvale only beat Caney by 11 points. If Caney would have beaten Cherryvale, would that make them the 2nd-place finisher? I can't find the rules for the tie-breaker.

Re: Tri-Valley League Results? - 02/17/05 10:54 PM

i think that it goes by who ever had the most pins in the dual something like that

Re: Tri-Valley League Results? - 02/17/05 11:14 PM

I thought the first rule for a tiebreaker was overall "good" points (points not scored by byes, points scored by pins, and then on down the line) and Caney would kick Burlington's and Cherryvale's butts in that one... but you may be right.

Go to the web site listed above, click on team rosters, and scroll all the way to the bottom for the tie-breaker criteria used at this tourny.

I think in that case, Caney would have recieved the 2nd place tophy if they would have beaten Cherryvale... interesting...

Re: Tri-Valley League Results? - 02/18/05 04:05 AM

Technically, the first rule is least number of unsportsmanlike penalties, then it gets convoluted from there.
