It looks like there were some great matches in that tourney. Chris Perry got majored in the finals! Joe Bach with a win over Galognov (sp). Kendric Maple with a solid showing in a tight loss to Silver. Former Labette Cardinal Derek Thompson with a solid third place finish. Detmer was in there. Good action.
Just got back from the tourney. That Maple/Silver match was something. Kendric controlled the whole match until the last 5 seconds, giving up 4 points!
I thought there would have been more Kansas kids in this (not as many as Baker of course), but where was Nelson of OU, Erisman of Ok State, and all the UCO Kansas guys?
Erisman had his arm in a sling but told me he would be fine. Watson also was dinged up but he will be ready to go this week. Nelson will go next weekend in Iowa.

Did he do that pinning the poor sap in the Intrasquad match? LOL...all joking aside, will there be a chance he is in the lineup vs. OU tonight? That could be a showcase of several Kansas guys.
