If I want to wrestle with a oklahoma club after the state freestyle/greco championships, do I still have to go to the southern plains camp to be able to wrestle in the southern plains regional? Or will I HAVE to go to the camp to be able to wrestle in the regionals? Or will you just take my money. It is cheaper for me to give you my money than to attend the camp "Camp + tournament = 2 trips to FT. Hays plus time off from work. Not fair

Ladies & Gentlemen:

The executive council just had a meeting to discuss the mandatory requirement and I am happy to announce the mandatory reqirement has been rescinded. Bob Phillip will be putting more information out on the website very soon.

Now we hope everyone will be pleased and we can fill the Southern Plains Tournament with Kansas Kids. Good Luck to everyone in your Summer Wrestling.

Jeff Sheets
Executive Director

Thanks to the committee for recognizing and accepting the wishes and feelings of the plurality. Now that the camp is not mandatory, I am sure most will try to support it and attend, at least part with the hope of improving Team Kansas.

Good job guys! I really hope the camp and the tournament have big numbers from Kansas kids. It's great to have this event here at home!
