A McPherson teen was killed early Wednesday morning when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a tractor trailer truck.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Benjamin Richter was riding a motorcycle south on K 153 Highway. As a semi headed the same direction was passing him, Richter turned into the side of it. He died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
The accident happened at just after 7:00 Wednesday morning on K 153 Highway about 1 mile south of US 56 Highway on the west side of McPherson.
