Wrestling Community,

I am looking for anyone who has information on where I might obtain a grant for building a wrestling room. I want to write a grant for some money to build a wrestling facility, something that is 37 years past due, rolling out and up mats is taking a toll on my practice time.

Anyone who has information about a grant or someone who would be willing to support Sabetha wreslting with a small donation or charitable donation would be greatly appreciated.

Please send me a personal message on this board or email me at brownj@sabetha441.k12.ks.us

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Coach Jason Brown

I am in the exact same boat with Central Heights! I have a committed group of parents willing to work towards a wrestling facility for the Vikings but they will need some financial help!!

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?

I would gladly take a 25 year old facility as long as it would be MINE!! (i.e. mats down year round) rather than the current "multi-purpose-your-season-is-only-four-months-long-so-get-out-so-we-can-lift-weights-and-hit-baseballs-room." If you nave mats down yearsround, consider yourself fortunate.

I know you have some wealthy business owners up there. Just get Keim Trucking to build it. I see he redid the ball diamond. Hopefully you have a relative on the team,if not they I would do a little coaxing this summer.

Got to love that wonderfull AD in Eudora, as long as you have him you wont have anyone fighting for you that is for sure. He might not admit it, but if was up to him he would drop the program. And his own brother was one of the early state medalists.
