The2008-09 USAWA East KS All-Senior Team has been announced! These young men have all distinguished themselves on and off the mat. They have represented themselves, their schools, and our State well. Letters of recognition were sent to these young me through their perspective Athletic Directors the week preceding the High School State Tournaments. This group of young men has also been asked to compete in the USAW East KS Senior Classic. All interested and available applicants will be placed in a pool from which two dual teams will be selected. The USAWA East KS Senior Classic will be wrestled on March 20th at 7:30pm at the Washburn’s Lee Arena in Topeka, KS. If you are on the list below and are interested in wrestling, but have not contacted me please do so by Tuesday, March 17th. The dual teams will be selected that evening and wrestlers will be immediately notified if they have been selected. A 10# allowance will be given from the weight you wrestled in HS. If you weigh over the allowance, but are still interested in being in the pool at another open weight please indicate that and we will place you in the pool of available athletes accordingly. If you know of any other qualified senior wrestlers that want to compete please have them contact me ASAP.
