We are going to have 5 tables one for each age group. When an age group is finished then we will move the groups accordingly. If I get an huge number of entry requests there is a possibility of making this a two day tournament and then we would run the tournament in sessions. I hope the wrestling community brings the numbers so that we might continue to bring additional events.
Thank you

We have changed the tournament site to the

Great Plains Mall
20700 west 151st Street
Olathe, Kansas

This is gong to allow for as many tables as needed.
The 30,000 square foot room should give us ample room to accomidate as many wrestlers as would like to compete.
Thank you for your support.

I still need to get some referee's if you are interested contact me as soon as possible.

Due to the weather we are going to allow for an additional day for signups. We will close the sign-up tuesday thank you for your support.

See you all saturday.

The National duals at Cedar Falls Iowa were grrrreat. Wow those Young men grow up to become beasts. If you get a chance go see them next year. There are some great matchups. Outstanding wrestler awards go to two young men who were in the Kansas youth programs. Very nice to see our youth programs continually turn out great wrestlers.

So are the weigh ins at Great Plains mall too? Your flyer on the usawks website won't come up for me.

If you are still looking for ref's I ran into Jason Solomon who lives by Pamona lake. He was at Chanute so they could get you his information. Had a great wrestling career and should be a talented ref if he sticks with it.

Any word on the weigh ins. I want to inform our club but telling them I haven't got confirmation of the time and location. If anybody else has the info it would help us out.

Thanks

Thank you. For what ever reason I can't get the flyer to come up. Do you by any chance have the times for the Friday night weigh in? I am assuming 6-8pm at the mall.

That is all I need. I could see my son mysteriously gaining a pound while we were waiting in line to get him weighed!

Thanks for the great turnout.
A special thanks to my daughter Ambra Isenberg and my wife Alma Isenberg for stepping up and doing a great job with the paper work at the head table. Everybody from our very small club did a very good job and are now officialy part of the wrestling community. I don't think the average wrestling fan can truly appreciate a tournament until you have worked one. We had a lot of Teams step and help at the tables. Mr.and Mrs Broadbent from Mill Valley supplied a mat and helped with a table(great wrestling family and outstanding People). There was a couple from the Dotte the sweetest people you will every meet a special thanks to them and there club. Olathe South stepped up and helped out and several people I didn't even have time to catch their names. The officals did an outstanding job considering it was three or four of them's first tournament. Jim Belcher and the other Officials were very good and held our tournament to a very high standard. This was one of the most vicious tournaments I have ever been to. I think because of the the low cellings and the fans close proxcimity to the mats. The fans really propelled the wrestlers to scrap for every point. I think we had 337 wrestlers not counting the girls tournament. Thanks to the Olathe North Club for supplying all of the table equipment and running an outstanding Girls division. Wow there were some outstanding matches, girls and boys. There were a few girls who wrestled both boys and girls divison. Those girls were as good a I have seen at this level. There were a couple of national champions hook it up and give the fans a great show. I know there were a lot of people who stepped up and helped and would like to thank them I just didn't know there names. So thank you wrestling communty. We didn't have any serious injuries and things went rather well.
By the end of the tournament I looked at the clock and it was only 3:30pm. It seemed like the day was a lot longer than 5 1/2 hours. Well anyway thanks again god bless and I hope your life is as bless as mine.

See ya mat side somewhere.
