Does anyone know if we will be able to use the pre-registration feature of Track Wrestling? Having to manually input everyone’s info is very time consuming.

I would hope so...
I thought that was one of the selling points of using TW at subs then districts and state.

Mike Juby told me that we would be able to simply input our kids' trackwrestling number, and the rest of their info would pop up, so we just need to verify the correct weight, and we would be good to go.

If the pre-registration feature is used, then it is just a matter of putting a check mark in front of the wrestlers names that you want to sign up for the tournament. You can sign up a whole club in seconds if you want. By not using this feature is makes it labor intensive for the clubs and to not take advantage of the tools Track Wrestling provides would be a shame.

We should not have to go looking for the Track Wrestling number for each wrestler and then have to type it in when all of the info is already there.

What if most of your kids have not wrestled a tourney that used Trackwrestling?

I haven't used that feature, so I was happy just having to type in the TW number.

One of the problems I see is that kids that were with another club last year, but with ours this year, have a trackwrestling number that I don't know, so I'll have to manually enter their names, as TW kind of "locks" them into last year's info as far as club, USA #, etc.

When you get your statistician password, you can login with it, and there is a sentence at the top of your wrestler page that says click here to import your roster from...(TEAM NAME)... (Club coach account.) Use that utility to do what you are referring to here, to get your whole team and just check the individual.

I'll give it a whirl, but will be back on here trying to get you to help me unscrew it up I'm sure.

Thanks

I tried to import, it said "duals program" or some other question. I tried both and it didn't work. I tried registering a club coach, which I thought I had, and it tried to go to a pay window to charge me to be a member? I am pissed, and lost. What am I doing wrong. Unbelievable that we shouldn't be able to just add wrestlers like we do at EVERY other trackwrestling tourney.

From the drop down menu that says "our duals progam" choose "a club coach account". Then a page with your normal "Email Address/Password" will come up and the import will be complete. You will then be able to select your participants from a list like any "normal tournament".

It is easy if everyone is familiar with all the track requirements. Otherwise there are some user friendly issues like getting card numbers, club numbers, passwords, etc. It is a bigger problem for the late sign ups with highschool just finishing. I think new clubs are also having some timing issues. I got 3 calls from other clubs. I had them call our club director or Kathy Juby.

I figured out that I had never "added to my list". I was able to enter their trackwrestling numbers, click on their name when it came up, and create my "list". I was then able to go to the statistician part of the Subdistrict, and click on each name, and verify their age and weight and rank them.

I am slowly getting unpissed.....

Now that I am cooled off, I know that I should have, at the very first tourney of the year, started making my "wrestler list" from the club coach account. Now I will be able to just click on the kid, won'teven have to enter the trackwrestling number, to enter them in a tourney. Their info will pop up, and you just need to verify the weight, rank them, and you're done.

Thanks to Justin and Kevin at Trackwrestling, and my buddies here on the forum.......
