Does anyone know if the $45 entry fee is good thru march 15th? Or does it end the 14th and the $65 start the 15th.

How about the $20 entry fee ($15 for school age children) for spectators per day($35 for two day pass) plus the fact that you have to pay to park! But on the bright side it is only $90 dollars for a coaches pass! I would think twice about bringing the entire family to watch JR. wrestle, could get real expensive real fast!
$45 wrestler entry fee
$90 coaches pass
$35 Gate fee for Mom
$20 Parking (guess for three days wiegh-ins to finals)

Min $190 plus you have to eat, no coolers allowed.

Your best bet is to contact the people running the tournament.
This was originally a national/regional tournament series that was designed for high school kids - it's intent was to allow college coaches and recruiters so they could watch the kids in action after the college and high school season. They have added a kids division the last several years.

http://www.brute.com/bruteadidasnationals/ - go to the contact us section and make suggestions.

I am pretty sure they have to pay Henry Cejudo an appearance fee. So the clinics/signings are not totally free. FREE CLINICS AND AUTOGRAPH SIGNINGS: Henry Cejudo, 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist

The facility rental has to be a big chunk ???? per day. Officials
not sure what this aggreement is per day plus lodging and travel,
emergency services??? Facility security and staff. Many many volunteers help but all in all their are some paid employees involved in putting these tournament on.

Also - they (Brute) set up a fund to help struggling college programs that have or are thinking about dropping wrestling.

I think it is a great event to have this close in the midwest.
Pricey ?? It could be a good investment for current HS kids considering collegiate wrestling. A little early for the 1st, 2nd , and 3rd graders - but a college education is pretty important down the road.

All national tournaments are pricey! Liberty is $20 gate fee $20 coaches fee $ 47 entry and $20 for parking!Elementry or middle school duals are $250 just for entries! Wrestling is expensive period. Now wrestling should not be about the trophy but, the kids really bank if they do win. Singlets, Jackets, medal, nice acrylic plaque, coaches shirt, and jacket! My kids have a good time at Brute there is better competition than Liberty and it is more fun with all the clinics and such! Now I wont compare it to Tulsa by any means in terms of competion, but it is a fun way to end the season with the stress of state being over. And watching the High School on Saturday is phenominal. The high school devision is definately some great entertainment. I mean it may cost $190 but it costs a family of five $65 dollars plus $35 for concessions plus dinner just to go to a movie! I would rather double that for two great days of wrestling fun, One day full of Awesome HS wrestling entertainment, and hopefully a bag full of hardware! Any way, everybody has there own preferences, but if you haven't tried it out you might want to as it really is a good time. smile

I agree Curtis! Especially about competing after the stress of state being over. My boy really enjoys attending and also it's cheaper then a trip to Iowa for me. On the plus side, I think the kids division is getting stronger every year and it's always a great experience to wrestle at Liberty auditorium!
